About

 Story of Rise Therapy

Rise originally started in 2014 out of a need we saw in our community. We piloted a program with a local gym called Rehabilitate In Supervised Exercise (RISE), a transition from therapy to community based exercise for those with neurologic and/or mobility impairments. It served our community well, providing a lower cost option to continue the
important work of exercise and physical activity in a structured and supportive environment.

Later in 2022, we again saw a need for Rise in our community, but in a different capacity. Through the complexities of Covid, it was apparent that not only the patients we served, but us as therapists as well, needed more. More support, acceptance, and time for ourselves, for our families, and for our communities. Rise Therapy, LLC, began to provide mobile based neurologic physical therapy services and allow for more flexibility in our care and in our lives.

Very soon after the launch of Rise Therapy, our provider Rita Pascoe developed intracranial hypotension from a spinal CSF leak. This led her on an unexpected, but all together wholly healing journey that she still travels today. You can read more about this here. Presently, Rise Therapy’s ultimate purpose is to serve our community; offering evidence-
based and evidence-informed whole-person care for neurologic rehabilitation as well as supporting and
empowering our areas many amazing providers. Rise Therapy believes that in order to best serve, we first need to support ourselves and each other.

Collaboration and Connection is our jam! Please reach out with any questions or comments, we look forward to hearing from you and working with you!
